Jeep tours can go for half a day ride or a full day one.

The tours go through asphalt and dirt roads combined.

For a half day tour you can take the normal tour, which is to visit the surroundings of Gerês Village, seeing things as:

• Pedra Bela viewpoint
• Tahiti Waterfall
• Arado Waterfall
• Vilarinho das Furnas dam
• protected forest of the National Park (Mata da Albergaria)
• Roman roads
• traditional Portuguese villages
• Portela do Homem (the Spain border and waterfall).

This type of tour, besides allowing tourists to discover the National Park region also shows landscapes and mountain areas without you have to worry of anything. The only thing that you have to care is to look out for the infinite beauty that you’ll find.
